This Privacy Policy explains what information Pingsir collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, business details, and payment information. We also collect the contact and message data you import or generate while using Pingsir, and technical data such as log information and usage activity.

2. How We Use It

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Pingsir platform
  • Process payments and manage your credit balance
  • Send broadcasts and route conversations on your behalf
  • Provide support and respond to your enquiries
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse or security issues

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) access tokens are encrypted using AES-256. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We apply strict tenant isolation so that one business can never access another business's data.

4. WhatsApp Message Data

Message content is processed to deliver your broadcasts and power your shared inbox. We never store message content in plain text and never use your message data for advertising or to train models. Your contacts and conversations belong to you.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted providers to deliver Pingsir:

  • Meta (WhatsApp) — message delivery via the official WhatsApp Cloud API.
  • Razorpay — payment processing for plans and credits.
  • Supabase — database and encrypted media storage.

Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its part of the service, under its own privacy commitments.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete data or close your account, we remove or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or compliance purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. We support the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Information Technology Act and applicable data protection rules. To exercise your rights, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
